Cool to do my first interview with the mountainlife crew, who’ve been representing the Coast well for the last bunch of years. Thanks to Todd (who’s a master adventurer in his own right), for keeping it real and not making me seem like a total douche – since the ski media is filled with so much hype and BS these days.

It turned out to be an awesome issue to be in. Lots of other squampton friends such as Christian Begin (owner of Bella Coola heliskiing / film-maker guru), and Alain Denis, who stayed at my house this summer and has spent the last decade or so wandering this fine planet. Another cool thing, was the Swede talking about his and Steiner’s first descent of the Siberian in the Bella Coola article, while I mention my 1st solo descent of the same line, which might not have been repeated.
