1.5 feet of snow on the hurley!!
Bralorne action
I’ve explored and skied some fun terrain up in Bralorne, but this was the first ‘interesting’ line I’ve skied. So close . . . almost in my backyard.
Veronica and I skinned on bullet proof snow up through steep and dense trees, getting lost only once (my fault), and were greeted by this view. Smooth alpine meadows, lakes, and a stunning north face with countless ski lines. We chose the steep dogleg couloir that splits the center of the face.
After a brisk and eventful climb up the couloir, the perfectly preserved May powder was beckoning. Some of the best steep powder turns I have ever made.

Sorry for the bad quality shots, but our turns can be seen somewhere in these photos.
